Our HSEQ Policy
GMS is committed to providing our customers with the highest level of service possible and aspires to become an organisation against which others strive to benchmark.
We aim to conduct our business sustainably without causing undue harm to people or the environment. The requirements defined in this policy and throughout our Business Management System are mandatory at all levels of the organisation. In addition, we shall:
- Communicate to all persons working for and under the company’s control their obligations regarding this policy.
- Identify and evaluate all hazards or aspects and the management of those risks to reduce their impacts to practical levels.
- Provide safe working conditions by providing safety equipment, preventing and investigating incidents, including nonconformities and corrective actions, and disseminating information regarding lessons learned and best practices.
- Set demanding and achievable objectives, provide the necessary resources to monitor performance and ensure continual improvement.
- Foster a positive culture of engagement where our employees and stakeholders are consulted and participate in the company's development.
- Ensure that all employees have the necessary training and development to carry out their roles successfully and safely.
- Comply with requirements (applicable local and international legislation, regulations, standards) and continually improve the effectiveness of the Business Management System.
- Minimise our environmental impact by preventing pollution and implementing strategies to reduce carbon emissions.

GMS Life Saving Rules
GMS Life Saving Rules are based on critical, industry-standard safety requirements and focus on high-risk activities to prevent serious and fatal injuries.
As a growing organization operating in challenging and inherently hazardous environments, GMS recognises that achieving this objective requires continuous improvement in safety performance. The Life Saving Rules empower workers with clear, practical actions they can directly control to protect themselves and others, while also establishing a common safety language across our operations and business partners to enhance consistency, learning, and effective implementation.
