Executive Chairman
Mansour Al Alami
Mr Mansour Al Alami joined the Board of GMS in November 2020. His career spans over forty years in the MENA region and includes experience in the oil, gas & energy sector, construction, IT, transportation, finance and investment. He served fifteen years in various roles in ADCO, now ADNOC Onshore (the leading onshore producer within ADNOC Group) in the areas of drilling and production for upstream onshore operations, later becoming Head of Control & Planning. Mr Mansour Al Alami has served also in senior management positions in other companies including Reda Pump Libya, Al Bawardi Enterprises and EMDAD. He sits on the boards and committees of several Amman Stock Exchange listed companies. He has a BSc in Chemical Engineering from Newcastle University, UK.
Chief Financial Officer
Alex Aclimandos
Mr Alex Aclimandos joined GMS in 2022. He has 28 years of international financial management experience gained with first-tier companies such as Procter & Gamble, ABB, and Alvarez and Marsal. Most recently, Mr Alex Aclimandos was the Chief Financial Officer at Qatari Investors Group (QIGD), a publicly listed company. He holds an MBA and is a US Certified Management Accountant.
Chief Shared Services Officer
Shradha A.H. Ahuja
Ms Shradha A.H. Ahuja has over 20 years of international experience. She joined Gulf Marine Services in 2014 and has held progressive HR leadership roles, including Human Resources Manager and Head of Human Resources, before being appointed to the C-suite as Chief Shared Services Officer in 2022. In her current role, she oversees Human Resources, IT and Procurement. Prior to Gulf Marine Services, Ms Shradha A.H. Ahuja has worked with Emirates NBD Bank and GE Capital. She holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Management (Human Resources) from XLRI School of Management and is a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt.
Chief Commercial Officer
Jamie Taylor
Mr Jamie Taylor serves as the Chief Commercial Officer at Gulf Marine Services PLC. He joined GMS in 2004 as a Safety and Environment Officer, advanced to Group Health and Safety Manager, and subsequently progressed to Business Development and Commercial Director before assuming his current position, accumulating over 20 years of service. Throughout his tenure, Mr Jamie Taylor has developed extensive expertise across various facets of the organization, including operations in regions such as the GCC and Europe. His experience has provided him with in depth knowledge of the marine and offshore industry, particularly in the oil, gas, and renewables sectors. Mr Jamie Taylor oversees the deployment and chartering of GMS's fleet of self-propelled, self-elevating support vessels. He manages client relationships, negotiating long-term contracts and supporting partnerships to promote revenue growth. Mr Jamie Taylor holds an MBA from Strathclyde Business School and has completed the Lead the Future leadership program at INSEAD.
Operations Director
Chris Wild
Mr Chris Wild was named Operations Director of GMS in August 2022. He has over 25 years of experience in offshore operations working predominantly in Brazil, Gulf of Mexico and United Arab Emirates. Previously, Mr Chris Wild served in various roles including Fleet Manager, Asset Integrity Manager and Operations Manager since joining GMS in 2013.
Head of HSE & Quality
Gilberto Andara
Mr Gilberto Andara joined GMS in 2014 as a Quality Manager and was promoted in 2022 to Head of HSE and Quality. During his tenure with the company, he has played a pivotal role in developing and implementing strong Health, Safety, Security, and Environment management systems, championing new initiatives, and ensuring compliance with industry legislation and best practices.
